19:05 〜 19:25 ​LLM Integration for Large, Crucial Texts​ ​ー Pedro Almeida, AI Software Engineer

Exploring approaches to integrating LLMs when dealing with extensive documents where every section is critical, making traditional RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) with vector search insufficient.

About Pedro

Pedro Almeida has six years of experience in artificial intelligence, natural language processing (NLP), and AI-driven automation. He specializes in generative models, neural search, and applied AI research. Currently, he is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Autify, where he focuses on integrating advanced generative models into quality assurance and test automation.​ Previously, Pedro worked as a on the same role leading research and development in NLP applications, including sentiment analysis, neural search, and large language models (LLMs). He has also contributed to AI-driven stock control systems and developed NLP solutions one of Brazil’s top retailers.​ Beyond industry, Pedro has done academic research which spans virtual reality (VR), computer vision, and AI-powered automation and has published research in international conferences and journals.

19:25 〜 19:45 ​How No-Code Testing Platforms Can Help QA Engineers​ ​ー Desmond Ma, Technical Support Engineer

Exploring how no-code testing platforms could simplify and speed up testing processes in similar scenarios, highlighting their advantages, such as faster test creation, easier collaboration, and lower technical barriers, while discussing their limitations and how they compare to traditional automation tools.

About Desmond

Desmond Ma has six years of experience in software development, spanning full-stack web development, QA testing, QA automation, and technical support engineering. He is currently a Technical Support Engineer at Autify, an AI-powered quality assurance platform, where he specializes in troubleshooting complex customer issues and optimizing automated testing workflows.​ Before Autify, Desmond worked across diverse industries, including financial services, emergency response, and mining. He contributed to developing a new auto loan brokerage SPA platform in the subprime loan sector, ensuring quality and reliability as both a QA and engineer. He played a key role in the WA Police 000 and emergency response system upgrade, facilitating migration and integration onto the Azure cloud platform as a full-stack engineer. Additionally, he worked in the mining sector, developing a data management and tracking platform for underground drilling operations using AWS.
